The RTO Hyderabad was established under section 213 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988 to enforce the MV Act's rules and regulations throughout the city. The primary responsibility of RTO in Hyderabad is registration of new vehicles, issuing the NOC for vehicle transfer, giving driving licenses and learners license, carrying out driving tests, issuing fitness certificates, national and/or international permit issuance, and routinely inspecting the vehicles for the issuing fitness certificate, PUC (Pollution Under Control) certifications, etc.
